Exhibitor Information

Exhibitor Request for Proposal

The Campbell Collaboration is pleased to invite you to submit a proposal to exhibit your corporate products and capabilities at the 2008 International Campbell Collaboration (C2) Colloquium. The C2 Colloquium will take place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre Hotel from May 12 to 14, 2008.

The C2 Colloquium will include policy makers, practitioners, researchers, and students from countries from across the world. C2 is working hard to broaden the participation and involvement of a large constituency of people interested in generating and using the best research evidence to support policy and practice and to bring about positive social change.

The theme of the 2008 C2 Colloquium is Speaking Truth to Power: Evidence for Decisions in Education, Social Welfare, and Criminal Justice. The Coordinating Committee is striving for a Colloquium that:

  • engages participants intellectually throughout the colloquium;
  • creates excitement about the usefulness of systematic reviews of evidence for decision-making purposes;
  • fosters an appreciation of the respective perspectives of decision-makers and investigators;
  • is a forum for the exchange of knowledge about evidence for education, social welfare and criminal justice; and
  • is perceived as having provided participants with significant values for their investment of time and other entire review process

Participants who attend the 2008 C2 Colloquium can expect to achieve:

  • A better understanding of C2's vision, objectives, products, and ways of working
  • A better understanding of the ways in which they can contribute to C2
  • Technical ability and an understanding of systematic reviews and of the scientific methods that underlie them
  • An appreciation of the different types of evidence that are used to support policy making and practice
  • Networking opportunities with policy makers, practitioners, and researchers from across the world

Exhibitors at the 2008 C2 Colloquium can expect to achieve:

  • Promote your corporate products and services before a large and diverse array of international leaders in policy making, research, and evidence based systematic reviews
  • Support C2's goals of promoting evidence based policy making worldwide
